Join the Council in worship from Berlin

The General Council held its worship service at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, 2 July, in the Berlin Dom. The service was broadcast live on German national television station ZDF. It is now available to stream online.

The service featured music from the Posaunen (Brass) Ensemble, the Gospelkollektiv choir and Andreas Sieling, organist of the Berlin Dom.

Words came from EKD Bishop Petra Bosse-Huber, WCRC President Jerry Pillay, General Secretary Chris Ferguson, Vice-President Yvette Noble-Bloomfield, Aiko Sumichan and Alexandra Nikolara, as well as Petra Zimmermann of the Berlin Dom.

Following the service the Council attended a reception at the German Foreign Ministry before going on solidarity visits to diaconal sites around Berlin.
