“Being (hu)man in a world of violence,” the a last in a series of webinars working towards transformative masculinities and promoting gender justice in a post-pandemic world, will be held on Wednesday, 17 February, beginning at 15:30 (CET).
This series of consultative workshops has aimed to bring together a partnership of global organizations and church world communions that engage men in gender justice. It builds on previous work and experience in the area of gender-based violence perpetrated by men, psychological and physical violence done to men, and the root cause of intellectual and spiritual violence done to a faithful notice of being human and therefore the concept of masculinity.
This third online discussion will focus on positive masculinities to advance gender justice and build alliances between women and men. The conversation will feature Ezra Chitando from the University of Zimbabwe.
The webinar will be conducted through Zoom, and advance registration is required.
